Welcome to AREW’s 33rd year!
In this economy, in the competitive New York City market, whatever your profession, if you’re in the real estate industry, being a member of AREW is like having the world’s best pair of track shoes. We keep you in the race with programs, events and opportunities that put you a step ahead of the competition.
AREW is the first association founded for women real estate professionals in the U.S. Always a visionary organization, we embrace opportunities for growth; are proud of our achievements, yet never rest on our laurels; and continually look to be a better, stronger and more valuable resource to our members, sponsors, industry and community.
The season begins with a September 14th Breakfast Seminar with a most timely topic: “Back to Business – Career Counseling to Take Advantage of Current Market Conditions”. Our speaker will be Sam Marks, vice chairman of Korn/Ferry International, the world’s largest executive recruiting firm.
The following week, is AREW’s big season kick-off, the Fall Networking Cocktail Reception. Our venue is a delight – Inside Park at St. Bart’s, a treasured New York City landmark on Park Avenue and 50th Street. Guests will enjoy the beautiful outdoor terrace and indoor restaurant from 6:00-9:00 PM on September 23rd. There will be an open bar, hearty fare and, of course, wonderful networking.
Please also mark your calendars for October 5th, AREW’s first luncheon of the new season which will be held at Club 101, 101 Park Avenue at 40th Street.
AREW excels at the two primary reasons professionals join an industry association: top-notch educational and business-building opportunities.
AREW membership also includes membership in the national CREW (Commercial Real Estate Women) Network, exponentially expanding educational and networking opportunities to encompass 8,000 members nationwide.
Once again in 2010-11, we will raise the bar with regard to the quality, timeliness, value and frequency of our programs, special events and networking opportunities. We invite you to join AREW as a 2010-11 sponsor and/or member. You’ll find more information and a new member application right here at arew.org.
Sincerely,
Debra Cole
